Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The State Of Communities®, where ambitious founders, creatives, and technologists come together each year to reimagine what progress looks like. By registering for and attending the The State Of Communities® Summit (the “Event”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

  • “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to The State Of Communities®.

  • “Attendee,” “you,” or “your” refers to the individual or organization registering for or participating in the Event.

  • “Event” means the Think Forward® Summit, including all sessions, workshops, networking opportunities, and related activities.

2. Registration and Tickets

  • Attendance at the Event requires valid registration and payment (where applicable).

  • Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly permitted by The State of Communities®.

  • Refunds, if offered, will be subject to the refund policy communicated at the time of ticket purchase.

3. Participation and Conduct

Attendees agree to participate in the Event respectfully and in a way that contributes positively to the community. Disruptive, unlawful, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the Event without refund.

4. Fees and Payment

All ticket fees and related charges will be clearly outlined at the time of registration. Payment must be made in full to confirm attendance. Late or incomplete payments may result in cancellation of registration.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All Event content (including presentations, materials, recordings, and branding) remains the property of The State Of Communities® or its speakers, unless otherwise noted.

  • Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use Event content without prior written permission.

  • Personal note-taking and limited social media sharing are encouraged, provided they respect speaker and attendee privacy.

6. Media Release

By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. The State Of Communities® may use this media for promotional, educational, or other business purposes, unless you notify us in writing before the Event.

7. Confidentiality

While The State Of Communities® fosters open discussion, we encourage attendees to respect the confidentiality of sensitive information shared during sessions or networking. Any obligation to maintain confidentiality rests with each individual participant.

8. Liability

  • Attendance at the Event is at your own risk.

  • The State Of Communities® is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the Event.

  • Our total liability is limited to the ticket fee paid by the Attendee.

9. Event Changes and Cancellation

We reserve the right to make changes to the Event program, speakers, venue, or schedule. In the unlikely event of cancellation, our liability is limited to refunding ticket fees paid.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Mexico, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
